This season the Fantasy Doctor will answer a few of our readers' fantasy questions on an almost daily basis, Monday through Friday. Send your questions to the Doc at the address above.

Doc,
Our league has 2 keepers with no draft penalty. LaDainian Tomlinson is definitely one keeper. I'm trying to decide between Tony Romo and Marion Barber. Our scoring system is pretty evenly skewed (6 pts for each touchdown regardless of position, .1 pt for each yard regardless of position). I'm leaning toward Romo, assuming that he's guaranteed for at least a few TDs each game and big yards. Most mock drafts have Barber rated higher. I'd appreciate a prescription to take two and call you in the morning, but I'm not sure which two... Thanks.

— Woody Yurek, Costa Mesa, Calif.

Well, Woody, you play in a league that has extremely unique rules. Never before have I seen a league that rewards passing yards and rushing/receiving yards equally. Coupled with the fact that all TDs are worth six points, this scoring system greatly favors QBs. I think you have no choice but to keep Romo given these rules. I mean, if Romo throws for 3,500 yards and 30 TDs, which are probably conservative projections, that would net you 530 points. Even if Barber has a monster year, he's only going to get you half of that total. In leagues with traditional scoring, I'd keep Barber, but your situation is far from the norm. You should be sitting pretty with the duo of L.T. and Romo.

Doc, I need some help,
I am in a keeper league. Scoring system is TDs and 6 points for over 100 yards for RBs, WRs, & TEs only. The QBs only get points for TDs. My problem is I kept Vince Young as the QB and have Joseph Addai and Michael Turner. I have the 3rd pick in the 1st round and the 5th pick in the 2nd round. The top QBs available are Jay Cutler, Matt Hasselbeck, Philip Rivers and Matt Schaub. The WRs available are Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, T.J., Plaxico Burress, Wes Welker and Braylon Edwards. I keep leaning toward a QB with the 1st pick and maybe a good WR with the 2nd pick. What are your thoughts. Thanks.

— Nick Mercado

I think I would go the opposite way, Nick. There are some very good WRs available in your league, but the QBs aren't anything spectacular. I think grabbing a guy like Edwards or Andre Johnson would be your best bet in the first round. Then, you can come back in Round Two and take whichever of the QBs is left, as I don't see a huge difference in any of the four you mentioned. I just think the value is too good at receiver to pass up for a QB, especially given your scoring system.
