This stat measures how efficient a quarterback is in terms of the number of passes it takes for him to throw a touchdown. This list is valuable because it conveys which QBs need fewer attempts to pile up scores and which have to throw a lot of passes before throwing a TD.
If you can roughly estimate how many times a QB will throw in a given game, this list should give you a pretty good idea of how many TDs to expect. Over the course of a season, the players near the top of the list are likely to throw for the most scores.
Note: All quarterbacks, who have started 16 or fewer games since 2005 are marked with an asterisk. Rookies are not included in these lists.
