This stat measures how productive a quarterback has been in terms of passing yards per game he started over the past three seasons. Just as before, we used games started instead of games played to get a more accurate list, and a minimum of eight games started was needed to qualify.

Since most fantasy leagues today reward points for yardage, this list should give you a good idea of which quarterbacks will give you the most production in that category. Just as we did when analyzing opportunities at each position, we’ll project who will stay at the top of this list, who definitely will rise or fall, and whose passing yardage may surprise or disappoint you in 2008.

Note: All quarterbacks, who have started 16 or fewer games since 2005 are marked with an asterisk. Rookies are not included in these lists.

FIRMLY ENTRENCHED IN THE TOP 10: Tony Romo, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Marc Bulger

DEFINITE CLIMBERS: Jay Cutler, Philip Rivers, Alex Smith, Kyle Orton

POTENTIAL RISERS: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Matt Schaub, Jake Delhomme, Matt Leinart, David Garrard

CERTAIN TUMBLERS: Jon Kitna, Kyle Boller, Josh McCown

POSSIBLE STUMBLERS: Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, Donovan McNabb, Chad Pennington
