Report: Former Patriots WR Brown to announce retirement

Free-agent WR Troy Brown, who spent 15 seasons with the Patriots, will announce his retirement as soon as next week, according to a Boston Herald report.
The report indicates Brown will begin a media career.
Brown, an eighth-round pick by New England in 1993, is the Patriots' all-time leader in receptions (557) and gained 6,366 receiving yards to go along with 31 touchdowns for his career.
