Patriots sign veteran CB O'Neal

The Patriots signed veteran CB Deltha O'Neal on Monday. The team did not release terms of the agreement.
O'Neal is a two-time Pro Bowler who is entering his ninth NFL season. He has 75 career starts and has played in 116 games with the Broncos (2000-03) and Bengals (2004-07).
O'Neal will provide depth in the New England secondary and could provide some help in the return game.
In another move Monday, the Patriots announced that they have released TE Stephen Spach from the active roster. Spach appeared in three games for the Patriots last season.
