Report: Ravens unlikely to have interest in Favre

July 14, 2008
The Ravens are unlikely to show interest in Packers QB Brett Favre if he is put on the market or released by Green Bay, a team source told The Baltimore Sun on Monday.
Baltimore has been rumored to be a potential suitor for Favre, who is coming out of retirement after walking away from the game in March. However, the Ravens seem content to allow rookie QB Joe Flacco compete with veterans Troy Smith and Kyle Boller for the starting job. Steve McNair, who was expected to start this season, retired in April.
Favre's first public comments on his return will be aired tonight on Fox News.
