Ravens CB Rolle to miss start of camp

Ravens CB Samari Rolle will miss the beginning of training camp to attend his father's funeral, the club said Tuesday. Rolle's father died of a heart attack last week, and the funeral is Saturday.
Ravens veterans report to training camp on Wednesday.
Rolle is attempting to bounce back after a trying 2007 campaign. He played only six games and missed most of the season after being diagnosed with epilepsy. Rolle, 31, has 28 career interceptions. He is trying to hold off ex-Raiders CB Fabian Washington to keep his starting job.
