Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that RB Willis McGahee and S Ed Reed, who sat out the preseason opener at New England, will be ready for the start of the regular season. McGahee will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, while Reed is battling a shoulder injury.
McGahee rushed for 1,207 yards and seven touchdowns for the Ravens last season, while Reed led the Ravens with seven interceptions and held together a secondary riddled by injuries.
The Ravens host the Bengals in the regular-season opener for both clubs on Sept. 7.
