With WR Joe Jurevicius a strong candidate to begin the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list, and with the CB depth in need of bolstering, we hear the Browns are expected to be working the phones throughout training camp, looking to strike a deal. A source close to the club notes the team's preference would be to make a player-for-player trade; the Browns dealt away a pair of 2009 draft picks (Rounds Three and Five) in April. Cornerback is the more pressing position of need at the moment. The Browns would like to find a veteran who can come off the bench and cover receivers on the outside when opponents employ sets with three or more wide receivers.
