Cowboys sign fifth-rounder Scandrick

The Cowboys have come to an agreement on terms with their first draft pick this year, fifth-round CB Orlando Scandrick. The team’s other five draft picks remain unsigned less than a week before the team is scheduled to report to Oxnard, Calif. for training camp.
Scandrick’s deal is expected to pay him a total of $1.89 million over four years, including a signing bonus of $185,000.
Scandrick left Boise State following his junior season and was one of the more impressive players at the Cowboys’ rookie minicamp in May, but he missed time during the veterans minicamp with an eye infection.
