The Saints might pack up and head to Indianapolis this weekend if Hurricane Gustav continues on its path toward New Orleans.
The team likely would practice in the RCA Dome, which has been vacated by the Colts, who have moved to their new home, Lucas Oil Stadium.
Reports indicate the team will decide by Saturday evening or Sunday morning on whether to leave New Orleans so that they’ll have enough time to get situated before Monday’s practice as they continue preparations for the season opener against Tampa Bay in New Orleans on Sept. 7.
