Cardinals RB Edgerrin James became the 14th player in NFL history to gain 15,000 yards from scrimmage during Sunday's 31-10 victory over the Dolphins. He reached the milestone on a carry during the third quarter on his way to 55 rushing yards on 18 carries.
As a result, the 30-year-old's jersey and the football he carried when he surpassed the career mark will be sent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio to be put on display there.
In his 10th NFL season, James becomes the 12th running back to hit the 15,000-yard mark. Jerry Rice and Tim Brown are the only non-running backs to achieve the feat.
